ART DAY
Saturday, April 26 | 9 a.m.–noon

Art Day, which provides the public an opportunity to bring in works of art for inspection by art professionals, is a free service of the Curatorial and Conservation departments of the Museum. Art Days take place on a limited basis approximately once or twice per year.

Please note the following:
Art Day is conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are asked to bring no more than three objects for inspection. Since the Museum does not collect Asian art, furniture, or other decorative arts, we request that you do not bring objects in these categories as our experts will be unable to assist you.

Our curators and conservators cannot provide values for works of art. If you are seeking an appraisal, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the North Carolina Museum of Art, 4630 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-4630, Attention: Curatorial Department, and we will mail you a list of appraisers.

If you are in search of information or auction prices for a specific artist, you may wish to contact our Art Reference Library at (919) 664-6770.
