NCMA CAMPS
June 9–July 25
$245 ($220 Members) per session
9 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday
8 a.m. Early morning drop-off ($30 per camp)
Registration opens Tuesday, March 11.

CHILDREN'S PERFORMANCES

Wonderful Wednesdays
1 p.m. | Museum Auditorium
$3 (Free for Family-level members and above)
Tickets available through the Museum Box Office.
Children ages 5 and up.
(Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.)

June 11
Fiesta! A Celebration of Life in Latin America with Cantaré
Sing, dance, and learn about the cultures that shape the music.

June 18
Following the Rhythm with Alex Weiss and Different Drum
Come aboard for a musical adventure from South America to Africa.

June 25
Bug Juice with Rags to Riches Theatre for Young People
Join a colorful cast of insects in this zany play about a fortune-seeking fly.

July 9
Gems: Stories of Wisdom from around the World with Doug Berky
Masks, mime, and puppetry present world tales honoring hope, freedom, and justice.

July 16
It’s All in a Book with the Two Bells
Storytelling, music, and mime animate traditional and African folktales.

July 23
Meet the Music with Scott Ainslie
Clap and sing along as you hear the African roots of America’s music.

Join us for fun and exciting art activities with take-aways for children of all ages.


COLLECTION CONNECTION

The Collection Connection Learning Center located on the Entrance-level of the Museum is temporarily closed. The center will reopen with a new installation on the Main-level in early summer. The Collection Connection is made possible by Progress Energy.

WORKSHOPS

Family Fun Saturdays
Saturdays, May 17, | 10 a.m.–noon
Classroom
Free

Kids and adults will delight in creating projects, discovering one another's creativity, and learning about art together. A different theme each week means there's always something new to explore. Plus, participants will build a wonderful collection of take-home art. Registration required: (919) 664-6828.
