Lesson Plans

Invite nine works of art from Matisse, Picasso and their friends into your classroom for closer study with activities and discussion ideas that can be adjusted to a range of age and ability levels. Use the work of Degas, Monet, Van Gogh and other featured artists to discover connections to French language and culture, language arts, social studies, studio art, drama and dance.

Please note: Guided tours for the Matisse, Picasso exhibition are completely booked and unavailable. Due to the high level of public interest we no longer have the space to accommodate tour requests. Group tickets may still be purchased through the Museum box office. Check here for information regarding public tours of the exhibition for the walk-in visitor.
